I enjoy surfing the web, playing video games, playing tennis, playing pool (due to the pool table downstairs), and hanging out with my awesome girlfriend, Jessica.
For a MUSE class at San Jose State, I will be recording the goings on of my college life. Throughout the process, I'll be learning and trying various ways to gain internet fame.
Week 1: Don't fall behind, because it's hard to catch up. Week 2: Professors, on the whole, don't care about your excuses or reasons for being tardy/absent. Week 3: Some classes have powerpoints on Blackboard; save time taking notes by printing these out before class. Week 4: If late to class, come in quietly. Week 5: Try scheduling your time with either a planner or to-do list (I do the to-do list, and it's AWESOME) Week 6: If you have a problem with what the instructor does, either call 'em out on the spot or wait until later. Week 7: Peer Mentor Center is awesome, whether you're stuck, or you just need a place to work. Week 8: Talk to an advisor sooner than later to find out what path you want to take and how to get there. Week 9: Find at least one person in each class to exchange info, so you can help each other if one of you are sick or absent. Week 10: If you're in a class that allows laptops, only do online stuff if it isn't distracting to yourself or others. Week 11: Don't procrastinate. Seriously. Try spreading out papers over the course of a week or two. Week 12: "You gotta do what you gotta do" -Martina Week 13: If you're confused about something in your class, then ask the professor during his/her office hours.
